Addition of leading data and AI services firm deepens CDW’s capabilities, helping organizations build modern data foundations and accelerate AI adoption
VERNON HILLS, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CDW (Nasdaq: CDW), the leading end-to-end technology partner that turns customer ambition into outcomes, today announced plans to acquire leading data and AI services firm Lovelytics, a member of the Databricks Brickbuilder Partner Network. The acquisition expands CDW’s Data & Analytics Practice, helping customers build the data foundations needed to make better decisions, improve efficiency and put AI to work.
As demand for AI grows, organizations are increasingly focused on turning experimentation into business value, and data readiness remains a critical barrier. Only 12% of enterprises feel fully prepared on data readiness to support AI, according to Gartner research1. By combining Lovelytics' expertise in data, analytics and AI with CDW's broad technology capabilities, scale and deep customer relationships, this move will help organizations modernize their data and accelerate AI adoption, creating more business value.
"There is no AI strategy without a data strategy. As our customers move from AI pilots to execution, that journey runs directly through their data," said Christine A. Leahy, chair and chief executive officer, CDW. "Together, Lovelytics and CDW will help organizations turn data into a strategic asset, accelerating AI adoption, improving decisions and driving stronger business and mission outcomes."
Lovelytics helps organizations modernize, govern and use their data to improve performance and deploy AI at scale. With experience across energy, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, financial services and media, Lovelytics combines deep Databricks expertise with industry-specific capabilities. The acquisition will bring those capabilities to more customers, supported by CDW’s scale and broad technology portfolio.
"We built Lovelytics around the idea of putting together a great team of people who could solve the hardest data and AI challenges for companies,” said Scott Love, founder and chief executive officer, Lovelytics. “That's grown into a team of over 600 across the U.S., Canada, Argentina and Colombia, who I believe do it better than anyone. Becoming part of CDW is the next chapter of that story, and I couldn't be more excited for that team to help CDW's customers move faster on data and AI and to take on even bigger challenges together."
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Arlington, Va., Lovelytics was the first consulting partner backed by Databricks Ventures and has been named a Databricks Partner of the Year across many industry categories since 2022, including the Energy & Utilities Partner of the Year and Brickbuilder Partner of the Year in 2026. Its specialists work exclusively in data and AI, embedding with customer teams to modernize data estates and deploy AI at scale. In 2023, Lovelytics partnered with Interlock Equity to accelerate its growth as a leading data and AI services firm and Databricks ecosystem partner.
"The AI era demands a data and AI foundation that is governed, open and built for agents at enterprise scale,” said Andy Kofoid, president of global field operations, Databricks. “Lovelytics recognized this early, bet on Databricks as that foundation, and turned it into a market advantage that attracted customers from around the world. CDW's acquisition of Lovelytics validates what we've believed from the start: Companies that build the right data and AI foundation today will lead their industries tomorrow.”
The acquisition is a deliberate investment in CDW’s growth strategy, expanding its Services & Solutions portfolio in modern cloud, data and AI. Lovelytics adds specialized capabilities in an area of growing customer demand while strengthening CDW’s ability to help customers move from AI ambition to business and mission outcomes.
The transaction is valued at approximately $525 million and is not expected to have a material impact on CDW’s financial results in 2026. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in Q3.
