Andersen Group Inc. Announces Resolution of Limited Security Incident

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Andersen Group Inc. (NYSE: ANDG) today announced that it identified a social engineering attack affecting a single employee that resulted in unauthorized access to certain Company files containing information related to a limited number of clients.

Upon identifying this activity, the Company promptly launched its cybersecurity response process, initiated a forensic investigation, and notified law enforcement. That forensic investigation is now complete. It confirmed that there was no broader unauthorized access to Company systems and there has been no impact to the Company’s operations, systems, or ability to serve clients.

Andersen has notified the limited number of clients whose data was affected in this incident as required. The Company has also taken additional measures designed to reduce the risk of similar incidents in the future.

Andersen Group takes its responsibility to safeguard client information seriously. The Company does not anticipate a material financial impact from this incident.
