Wolverine Worldwide adds two directors with retail experience

Wolverine Worldwide Inc. (NYSE: WWW) appointed Cheryl Abel-Hodges and Jack Boyle to its board of directors, effective July 1, 2025, according to a company statement.

Abel-Hodges, 61, serves as chief executive officer of Tommy John Inc., a lifestyle brand. She previously held the CEO position at Calvin Klein brand within PVH Corp. and led various divisions including Calvin Klein North America and The Underwear Group. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Albany and sits on the board of Haworth Inc.

Boyle, 57, recently retired from his role as president of buying and North America at Fanatics Holdings Inc., where he managed merchandising and vendor relationships across direct-to-consumer channels for more than 900 sports partnerships. He spent over a decade in merchandising leadership at Kohl's Corporation and another decade at Famous-Barr, a division of The May Department Stores Company. He graduated from the University of Missouri and serves on the board of Destination XL Group Inc.

"They have extensive experience in merchandising, brand management, and omnichannel retail, and have demonstrated the ability to lead organizations through high growth periods," said Tom Long, chairman of the board for Wolverine Worldwide.

The Rockford, Michigan-based company operates footwear and apparel brands including Merrell, Saucony, Sweaty Betty, Hush Puppies, Wolverine, Chaco, Bates, HYTEST, and Stride Rite. The company also holds global footwear licensing rights for Cat and Harley-Davidson brands.
