Wellgistics Health reappoints Prashant Patel as interim CEO

Wellgistics Health, Inc. (NASDAQ: WGRX) announced the reappointment of Prashant Patel as president, interim CEO and board member. Patel had resigned from the positions of president and board member in August 2025.

The pharmaceutical distribution company also appointed Eric Sherb as interim CFO and added three new board members: Donald Fell, Steven D. Lee, and Howard Doss. Fell will serve on the nominating and compensation committees, Lee will serve on the ethics committee, and Doss will chair the audit committee.

The appointments coincide with the departures of CEO Brian Norton, CFO Mark DiSiena, and COO Tony Madsen from executive management. Board members Rebecca Shanahan and Michael Peterson also left their positions.

Patel previously served as director, chief strategy officer and vice chairman at Wellgistics from 2023 until August 8, 2025. He is a registered pharmacist with experience in pharmaceutical supply chain operations and has founded several startups in retail pharmacy, pharmaceutical distribution and reverse distribution.

Sherb is a certified public accountant with 16 years of experience in accounting advisory, auditing and mergers and acquisitions. He has served as CFO for several NASDAQ and OTC clients, including Scienture Holdings (NASDAQ: SCNX). He founded EMS Consulting Services in 2018.

The Tampa, Florida-based company operates an integrated platform connecting more than 6,500 pharmacies and 200 manufacturers, providing wholesale distribution, digital prescription routing and AI-powered services.
