Viomi Technology names Xiaomi executive to its board

Viomi Technology Co., Ltd (NASDAQ: VIOT) announced the appointment of Xinlang Yu as a director to its board, effective October 9, 2026, replacing Qian Sun, who resigned for personal reasons on the same date.

Yu currently serves as Deputy General Manager of the Ecosystem Department at Xiaomi Corporation. He joined Xiaomi in 2014 and has held roles across multiple divisions, including MIUI, Airstar Digital Technology, the Smartphone Department, and the Group Staff Department. He joined the Ecosystem Department in 2023 and has overseen multiple smart home appliance business lines as Deputy General Manager since November 2024.

Yu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, awarded in 2006, and a Master of Business Administration from Tongji University, awarded in 2013.

Viomi, based in Foshan, China, develops home water purification products and operates under an "Equipment + Consumables" business model.
