Tredegar announces board changes with two director departures

Tredegar Corporation (NYSE: TG) announced director transitions effective May 22, 2026, according to a company statement.

George C. Freeman III and Carl E. Tack III will resign from the board of directors. Freeman has served as a director since 2011, while Tack has held the position since 2014.

Joseph Haniford will join as an independent director on the same date. Haniford currently serves as chairperson of the board of directors at River Valley Health, a position he has held since July 2023.

Haniford previously worked as chief operating officer and senior vice president at Carpenter Technology Corporation from July 2015 to September 2023. He also served as chief operating officer at Heil Trailer International and EnTrans International. He began his career at Alcoa Inc., holding various positions. Haniford holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Gregory A. Pratt, chairman of the board, stated that Freeman and Tack "have been invaluable members of our Board of Directors" and noted Haniford's "deep industry and public-company executive experience."

Tredegar operates as an industrial manufacturer with two primary businesses: custom aluminum extrusions for North American building and construction, automotive and specialty markets, and surface protection films for electronics applications globally. The company employs approximately 1,600 people across manufacturing facilities in North America and Asia.
