Terra Innovatum Global N.V. (NASDAQ: NKLR), a developer of micro-modular nuclear reactors, announced changes to its board of directors, effective September 22, 2026.
The company appointed Michael Modro, Kostadin Ivanov, and Tony Tullio as independent directors. The three will serve until the company's next Annual General Meeting, at which point their appointments will be submitted for shareholder confirmation.
Modro brings experience in nuclear safety, reactor technology, and deterministic safety analysis, including work with the International Atomic Energy Agency on safety assessment and regulatory frameworks. Ivanov is a Distinguished Professor and Head of the Department of Nuclear Engineering at North Carolina State University, with a background in reactor physics, reactor design, and modeling and simulation. Tullio held senior leadership positions at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati, including serving as Chief Financial Officer of Maserati for the NAFTA region.
Simultaneously, Michael W. Howard, Rex S. Jackson, and Peter Hastings stepped down from the board. Joanna Lohkamp will continue to serve as a director.
The board also indicated it intends to establish a Technology, Safety and Licensing Committee, subject to adoption of the necessary governance documents, to provide oversight of matters relating to the company's SOLO™ reactor platform, nuclear safety, licensing strategy, and regulatory engagement.
Chief Executive Officer Alessandro Petruzzi attributed the changes to the company's transition from development toward commercialization. "Their contributions helped guide the early phases of our Company's growth," Petruzzi said of the departing directors, adding that the company is "pleased to welcome Michael, Kostadin, and Tony to the Board as Terra Innovatum enters its next phase of development."
According to a press release statement, the board changes are intended to align the company's governance with licensing, first-of-a-kind deployment, and industrialization milestones for the SOLO™ Micro-Modular Reactor.
