Tenable adds former Microsoft and AWS executive to its board

Tenable Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TENB) has appointed Charlie Bell to its Board of Directors, the cybersecurity company announced Oct. 6, 2026.



Bell spent more than two decades at Amazon Web Services, where he served as Senior Vice President and helped build the company's cloud infrastructure. He most recently served as Executive Vice President of Security, Compliance, Identity and Management at Microsoft, where he oversaw enterprise security strategy, product engineering and threat intelligence operations.



"Charlie Bell is one of the foundational architects of modern cloud computing and enterprise security," said Mark Thurmond, Co-CEO of Tenable. "His track record of engineering resilient, large-scale software platforms and leading world-class product teams is phenomenal for our business."



Steve Vintz, Co-CEO of Tenable, said Bell's experience leading organizations through major technology shifts would benefit the company as it pursues what he described as "AI-driven exposure management and proactive risk reduction."
