Talos Energy adds retired Air Force general to its board

Talos Energy Inc. (NYSE: TALO) has appointed Barbara J. Faulkenberry, a retired U.S. Air Force Major General, to its board of directors, effective Oct. 1, 2026, according to a company statement. The appointment expands the board to seven directors.

Faulkenberry retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2014 after a 32-year career. Her final assignment was as Vice Commander overseeing global mobility operations involving 37,000 personnel and 1,100 aircraft.

She holds a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a Master of Business Administration from Georgia College & State University, and a Master of National Security from the National Defense University. She has also completed leadership courses at Harvard University, the University of Cambridge, and Syracuse University.

Faulkenberry has prior public company board experience, including six years on the board of Callon Petroleum Company, where she served on the Audit and Compensation Committees and chaired the Nominating and ESG Committee. She also served on the boards of Target Hospitality Corp. and USA Truck, Inc., where she chaired the Technology and Strategy & Risk Committees.

Board Chairman Neal P. Goldman said Faulkenberry "brings more than three decades of leadership experience and a unique combination of global operations, logistics, strategy, and risk management expertise."
