Strathmore Plus Uranium names Richard Newbury to its board

Strathmore Plus Uranium Corporation (CSE: SUU) (OTCQB: SUUFF) (FSE: TO3) has appointed Richard Newbury to its board of directors, according to a press release from the Kelowna, British Columbia-based company.



Newbury holds a Bachelor of Economics from Carleton University, earned in 1972. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1976, spending 15 years as a commodity futures broker focused on forest products, gold, copper, and financial instruments.



He later worked as a retail investment advisor at National Bank Financial before joining Haywood Securities, where he remained for more than 30 years until his retirement in 2018. Since retiring, Newbury has worked with junior resource companies on capital raising and corporate marketing.



CEO Dev Randhawa said: "Mr. Newbury brought me my first uranium transaction in 1996, and I am very pleased to welcome Rich to the Board of Directors. His financial expertise and extensive experience in the public markets will provide valuable insight and further strengthen our Board and management team as we advance Strathmore Plus."



Strathmore Plus holds three uranium projects with approved exploration plans in Wyoming: Agate, Beaver Rim, and Night Owl.
