Splash Beverage Group founder Robert Nistico steps down as CEO
Splash Beverage Group, Inc. (NYSE American: SBEV) announced that founder and CEO Robert Nistico has resigned from his executive roles, effective November 14, 2025. Board member William Caple will succeed Nistico as chairman of the board.
Nistico will remain on the board of directors and continue working on beverage sector projects. Company President William Meissner will assume additional responsibilities during the transition while the board searches for a new CEO.
Caple has served on Splash's board for over two years and brings experience in investment banking and corporate development. He previously guided the $1.8 billion acquisition of TaylorMade Golf by Korea's Centroid Investment Partners.
"Under his direction, Splash completed a successful IPO in 2020, uplisted to the NYSE in 2021, and navigated several dynamic years of growth and expansion," Caple said of Nistico's tenure.
The Fort Lauderdale-based company operates a portfolio of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage brands. The board indicated it plans to focus on strategic acquisitions beyond the beverage sector.
Splash Beverage Group went public in 2020 and moved to the NYSE American exchange in 2021. The company develops early-stage brands and acquires established beverage brands with market presence.
