SiriusPoint appoints Martin Hudson to board effective September 1

SiriusPoint Ltd. (NYSE: SPNT) announced the appointment of Martin Hudson as a board director, effective September 1, 2025.

Hudson brings more than 40 years of international insurance and reinsurance experience across underwriting, risk management, governance, and executive management. Since 2015, he has served as an independent non-executive director and board chair at multiple companies, including SiriusPoint International Insurance Corporation.

Hudson currently serves as independent non-executive director at Liberty Mutual Managing Agency Ltd and Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe SE. He previously held board positions at Apollo Syndicate Management Ltd, MS Amlin Underwriting Ltd, Novae Syndicates Ltd, and Old Mutual Specialty Insurance.

Earlier in his career, Hudson held senior executive positions with Travelers Insurance, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group, and Old Mutual Specialty Insurance. His experience spans wholesale and retail insurance, specialty and reinsurance markets, and global operations across the US, UK, Europe, Canada, and Asia.

SiriusPoint is a Bermuda-headquartered global specialty insurer and reinsurer with approximately $2.8 billion in total capital. The company's operating subsidiaries maintain financial strength ratings of A- from AM Best, S&P and Fitch, and A3 from Moody's.
