ScanSource board shrinks to seven after director Peter Browning retires

ScanSource, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCSC) announced the retirement of Peter C. Browning from its Board of Directors, effective August 12, 2026. With his departure, the board has been reduced from eight to seven members.

Browning joined the ScanSource board in 2014 and served as Lead Independent Director from February 2019 to January 2026. The company is headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to have served on the ScanSource Board and work alongside such a talented group of directors and leaders," Browning said in a statement. "It has been a privilege to contribute to the Company's growth and governance."

Mike Baur, Chair and CEO of ScanSource, acknowledged Browning's tenure. "We are grateful for his many contributions to ScanSource. His insight and guidance have helped strengthen our Board and advance our corporate governance."

Charlie Mathis, who holds the Lead Independent Director role, said Browning's "expertise and thoughtful counsel have been instrumental to ScanSource" and that his contributions "have left a lasting impact on the organization."
