Qiagen calls shareholder vote on new CEO board appointment
Qiagen N.V. (NYSE: QGEN; Frankfurt Prime Standard: QIA) has scheduled an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders for November 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. CET in Venlo, the Netherlands, according to a press release from the company.
Shareholders will vote on the appointment of Jonathan M. Pratt to Qiagen's Managing Board. Pratt joined the company as Chief Executive Officer on September 1, 2026. If approved, he would serve alongside Roland Sackers, Chief Financial Officer, as the two members of the Managing Board.
The meeting will also include a vote on the discharge of Thierry Bernard, who stepped down as CEO and Managing Board member on September 1, 2026.
Meeting materials, including the agenda and explanatory notes, will be made available to shareholders in accordance with applicable requirements.
