Qfin Holdings names new CEO effective Sept. 21, 2026
Qfin Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: QFIN; HKEx: 3660) announced a change in its chief executive officer, with Yan Zheng appointed to the role effective September 21, 2026, succeeding Haisheng Wu.
Wu, who served as CEO and a director of the company, will step down from both positions and cease to be a member of the board's compensation committee. According to a press release from the Shanghai-based company, Wu intends to focus on the development of Qfin Holdings' international business going forward.
Zheng previously served as the company's vice president beginning in February 2017 and as its chief risk officer from July 2020. He holds 18 years of experience in consumer finance risk management. Before joining Qfin Holdings, Zheng co-founded Shenzhen Samoyed Internet Finance Service Co. Ltd. in May 2015. He also worked at China Merchants Bank (Shanghai Stock Exchange: 600036) from November 2014 to April 2015 and in the bank's Credit Card Center from July 2008 to October 2014. Zheng earned a bachelor's degree in quantitative economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2008 and an EMBA from Fudan University in 2025.
Board chairman Fan Zhao said Wu "has made an invaluable contribution to the Company since the inception of our business" and that the board is "confident that Mr. Zheng will lead the Company into a new stage of business development."
