OLAPLEX adds two directors with retail experience

Olaplex Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: OLPX) appointed Jerome Griffith to its board of directors effective July 20, joining Pamela Edwards, who was appointed March 20, according to a company statement.

Edwards previously served as chief financial officer and executive vice president of Citi Trends, Inc. from January 2021 through April 2022. She held various roles at L Brands Inc., including chief financial officer positions at Victoria's Secret from 2007 to 2017 and Express from 2005 to 2007. Edwards currently serves on the boards of Citi Trends, Inc. and Fossil Group, Inc.

Griffith served as chief executive officer, president, and board member of Brown Jordan Inc. from June 2023 until March 2025. He previously led Lands' End, Inc. as chief executive officer from March 2017 to January 2023 and served as chief executive officer of Tumi Holdings, Inc. from 2009 to 2016. Griffith currently serves on the boards of Vince Holding Corporation, Samsonite International S.A. and Brown Jordan Inc.

"Building out a best-in-class executive team and Board has been a top priority and we now have a strong foundation in place to execute on our priorities," said Amanda Baldwin, chief executive officer of OLAPLEX.

The appointments follow the company's recent brand refresh and the launch of its No.0.5 Scalp Longevity Treatment and PRO SCALP Rebalancing Concentrate salon service.

OLAPLEX, founded in 2014, develops hair care products using its Complete Bond Technology and sells through professional, specialty retail, and direct-to-consumer channels.
