NeutronX Corp. announced the appointment of Commander Phil Ehr, U.S. Navy (Ret.), to its Board of Advisors. The Miami-based company made the announcement on February 27.

Ehr served 26 years in the Navy, rising from enlisted seaman to commissioned Naval Flight Officer. His military service included classified reconnaissance missions during the Cold War and combat intelligence operations during Desert Storm. He later served as Assistant Air Operations Officer in the U.S. Joint Task Force supporting NATO's Operation Allied Force.

During his shore duty, Ehr supported development of the National Military Strategy under Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Colin Powell and served on staffs of Admiral James O. Ellis Jr. and General Wesley Clark. He is a graduate of the Naval War College and former National Security Affairs Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.

Following his naval service, Ehr co-founded the George Washington Initiative, described as a nonprofit organization focused on countering disinformation. He has conducted humanitarian aid missions in Ukraine.

NeutronX operates under an exclusive collaboration with NextNRG, Inc. (NASDAQ: NXXT), which provides AI-driven energy solutions including microgrids, distributed generation, energy management, and wireless EV charging systems.

"NeutronX and NextNRG are addressing one of the most critical vulnerabilities to our national security: the resilience of our power grid," Ehr stated in the press release.

The company is pursuing federal and defense-related energy infrastructure opportunities, including distributed microgrid configurations that integrate natural gas generation, solar panels, battery storage, and control systems.
