Nancy Chang joins Immix Biopharma board of directors

Immix Biopharma, Inc. (NASDAQ: IMMX) announced Nancy T. Chang has joined its board of directors. Chang previously served as CEO of Tanox, Inc., where she led development of several FDA-approved drugs.
During her tenure at Tanox, Chang oversaw development of XOLAIR for severe asthma, TROGARZO for HIV, and EBGLYSS for dermatitis. These drugs have generated combined sales exceeding $5 billion, according to the company statement.
Genentech/Roche acquired Tanox for $919 million. Eli Lilly and Co. currently commercializes EBGLYSS.
Chang's appointment coincides with her investment as a founding member of Goose Capital. Immix Biopharma develops cell therapies for AL Amyloidosis and other diseases.
The company's lead candidate NXC-201 is a BCMA-targeted CAR-T cell therapy being evaluated in the NEXICART-2 study for relapsed/refractory AL Amyloidosis. The FDA has awarded NXC-201 Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy designation and Orphan Drug Designation. The therapy also received Orphan Drug Designation from the European Medicines Agency.
Immix reported that NEXICART-2 met its primary endpoint at interim results presented at ASCO 2025.
