Minaurum Silver Inc. (TSXV: MGG) (OTCQX: MMRGF) has appointed Fernando Robles Noriega as Operations Manager at its Alamos Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico, and Nicolas Figueroa Tapia to its Advisory Board, according to a company statement.

Robles brings 22 years of Mexican mining experience, including roles as Mine Superintendent at SilverCrest Metals' Las Chispas silver-gold operation and Underground Mine Manager at First Majestic Silver's San Dimas and Santa Elena mines. Las Chispas was later acquired by Coeur Mining for $1.7 billion. He holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering from the University of Guanajuato and an M.Sc. from Queen's University in Ontario. He will advise Robles and the operational team on mine development planning.

In connection with the appointments, Minaurum granted 385,000 stock options exercisable at $0.40 per share for five years. Approximately 275,000 options vest in four equal quarterly installments beginning three months from the grant date, while 110,000 options vest immediately. The company also issued its first grant of 1,315,000 Restricted Share Units to senior management, officers, and key Mexican management, vesting in full two years from the grant date.
