LiveOne (NASDAQ: LVO) announced that Andy Vick has joined the company's Web3/Crypto Advisory Board. The music and entertainment platform made the announcement based on a press release statement.

Vick brings experience from multiple NFT and Web3 projects that the company says generated over $100 million in primary sales. He previously co-founded companies including Maker Studios, which Disney acquired for $750 million, and Surreal VR Inc, which STX Entertainment acquired.

The executive designed and developed NFTs for Social Gloves, which LiveOne reports delivered over $3 million in profits. Vick also founded what the company describes as a top 5 blockchain-enabled video game.

"By leveraging Andy Vick's expertise, LVO aims to drive substantial revenues and tap into new tokenization and blockchain opportunities with our 200+ podcasters and over 10,000 hours of video content," said Robert Ellin, Chairman and CEO of LiveOne.

Vick commented on his appointment, stating: "I'm excited to rejoin Rob and the LiveOne team. We see much bigger tailwinds ahead—even beyond the $3 million in NFT profits generated with Social Gloves."

LiveOne operates as a music, entertainment, and technology platform with subsidiaries including Slacker, PodcastOne (NASDAQ: PODC), and PPVOne. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles.
