Lionel Carnot resigns from Oculis board after nearly a decade

Oculis Holding AG (Nasdaq: OCS) announced that board member Lionel Carnot has resigned from its Board of Directors, effective September 30, 2026, after serving since 2017.

According to the company's statement, Carnot's departure is a personal decision and is not related to any disagreement with the company over its operations, policies, or practices.

Carnot said in a statement: "As the Company enters its next stage of growth, this is a timely point for me to step down and focus on other commitments. As an investor, I remain confident in the potential of Oculis' pipeline and look forward to the Company achieving important milestones in the years ahead."

Following the resignation, the board will consist of eight members. The Remuneration Committee, which Carnot chaired, will be led by Geraldine O'Keeffe, with Gregory Perry and Robert Warner serving as members.

Under Swiss law, the board vacancy created by Carnot's resignation can only be filled at a future annual or special general meeting. Oculis said it will begin identifying a successor and will provide updates as appropriate.
