Incannex Healthcare adds three members to clinical advisory board

Incannex Healthcare Inc. (NASDAQ: IXHL) announced the appointment of three members to its Clinical Advisory Board to support development of its PSX-001 program. The company named Murray B. Stein, MD, MPH; Andrew Cutler, MD; and Amir Kalali, MD to the board.



The Clinical Advisory Board provides clinical and scientific guidance as the company advances PSX-001 into its next phase of clinical and regulatory development. PSX-001 is an oral synthetic psilocybin treatment approved for Phase 2 clinical development for generalized anxiety disorder.



Dr. Stein serves as Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry and Public Health at the University of California San Diego and is recognized for expertise in anxiety and trauma-related disorders. He has authored more than 800 peer-reviewed scientific publications and served on the FDA Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Committee.



Dr. Cutler is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at SUNY Upstate Medical University and Chief Medical Officer at Neuroscience Education Institute. He has experience in clinical psychopharmacology and CNS drug development as a principal investigator in clinical trials.



Dr. Kalali is a physician-scientist who serves as board director and advisor to multiple public and private companies in life sciences. He collaborates with academic institutions and investment groups on clinical development strategies.



The advisory board will provide guidance on clinical trial design, endpoint selection, regulatory engagement, and development strategy for PSX-001. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Lou Barbato stated the expansion reflects the complexity of decisions ahead for the PSX-001 program.



Incannex develops combination medicines targeting biological pathways associated with chronic conditions including obstructive sleep apnea, rheumatoid arthritis, and generalized anxiety disorder. The company has three clinical-stage product candidates in development.
