Hippo Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HIPO) appointed Laura Hay and Susan Holliday to its board of directors, the insurance technology company announced Monday.

Hay will serve on the Audit, Risk, and Compliance Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Holliday will join the Audit, Risk, and Compliance Committee and the Compensation Committee.

Hay previously served as Global Head of Insurance for KPMG International, where she led more than 10,000 professionals across 90 countries. She currently serves on the boards of directors for MetLife, Everest Group, and the Girl Scouts of Greater New York.

Holliday has experience as a board director with previous roles at Acrisure Re and Tangerine Financial, where she chaired Audit and Risk Committees in European and African markets. She was formerly a member of Swiss Re's global executive team, leading strategy for its $24.5 billion reinsurance business.

"Their deep expertise in insurance and financial services, combined with proven success guiding complex organizations through growth, transformation, and disciplined risk management, will be invaluable," said Rick McCathron, President and CEO of Hippo.

The appointments come as the San Jose, California-based company continues to develop its technology-enabled insurance platform that covers both personal and commercial lines. Hippo operates through subsidiaries including Hippo Insurance Services, Spinnaker Insurance Company, Spinnaker Specialty Insurance Company, and Wingsail Insurance Company.
