H&R Block (HRB) Announces Resignation of Yolande G. Piazza from Board

On September 17, 2024, Yolande G. Piazza, a member of the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of H&R Block (NYSE: HRB), notified the Board of her decision to resign as a director of the Company effective immediately. In connection with her resignation from the Board, Ms. Piazza will no longer serve as a member of the Compensation Committee or the Finance Committee of the Board effective immediately. Ms. Piazza’s decision to resign was not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to its operations, policies, or practices. As a result of Ms. Piazza’s resignation, the Board acted to immediately reduce the size of the Board from nine directors to eight directors.
