Fidelity Bank adds two directors to board

Fidelity D & D Bancorp appointed James Clemente and Rocco A. DelVecchio to its board of directors on January 2, according to a company statement.



Clemente, a certified public accountant with more than 45 years of experience, serves as managing partner at Snyder & Clemente, where he focuses on taxation, estate planning, business acquisitions, and IRS representation. He previously served as a director for another community bank and holds memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.



DelVecchio brings decades of financial services leadership experience across commercial, retail, small business, and wealth management sectors. He worked as a consultant for Fidelity Bank from 2020 to 2024 and previously held senior leadership positions including president and chief executive officer at another area bank, where he managed multi-billion-dollar loan and deposit portfolios.



Clemente will serve as director until the 2028 annual meeting of shareholders, while DelVecchio's term extends until the 2026 annual meeting. Both appointments apply to the parent company and its wholly owned subsidiary, The Fidelity Deposit and Discount Bank.



Fidelity Bank operates 21 full-service offices throughout Lackawanna, Luzerne, Lehigh, and Northampton Counties in Pennsylvania, along with additional locations in Luzerne and Schuylkill Counties. The bank provided over 5,960 volunteer hours and more than $1.5 million in donations to nonprofit organizations in its service areas during 2024, according to the statement.
