DexCom appoints Google executive Rick Osterloh to board

DexCom Inc. (NASDAQ: DXCM) announced the appointment of Rick Osterloh to its board of directors, effective February 26, 2026, according to a company statement.
Osterloh serves as Senior Vice President of Platforms & Devices at Google, where he oversees Android, Google Play, Chrome, and the company's device portfolio including Pixel phones, Google Nest smart home products, and Fitbit wearables. He has held this position since 2016.
Prior to his current role, Osterloh served as President of Motorola Mobility from 2014 to 2016 and held senior product management positions at the company from 2012 to 2014. He also worked as Vice President of Product & Design at Skype from 2010 to 2012, with earlier roles at Amazon, Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers, and Deloitte.
Osterloh holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

DexCom develops glucose monitoring technology for diabetes management. The San Diego-based company was founded in 1999 and focuses on glucose biosensing technology.
