Datadog adds Dominic Phillips to board of directors

Datadog Inc. (NASDAQ: DDOG) appointed Dominic Phillips to its board of directors, the cloud monitoring company announced March 2.
Phillips serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Samsara, where he oversees global financial operations including strategic finance, accounting, procurement, tax, treasury, corporate development, investor relations, IT, and security.
"Dominic has a strong track record of leading rapidly growing global technology companies. His experience building high-performing teams and delivering strong financial results will be invaluable as Datadog continues to scale," said Olivier Pomel, chief executive officer at Datadog.
Phillips brings more than 20 years of financial leadership experience in the technology sector. Before joining Samsara, he served as vice president of finance and head of corporate development at ServiceNow, where he led financial planning and analysis, investor relations, treasury, and corporate development functions.
Earlier in his career, Phillips worked as a vice president in Morgan Stanley's technology investment banking group, advising technology companies on financings and strategic transactions.
Phillips holds a bachelor of science degree in business from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and a master of business administration from UC Berkeley.
The appointment was announced in a company press release statement.
