Commercial Metals appoints Dawne Hickton to board of directors

Commercial Metals Company (NYSE: CMC) announced the appointment of Dawne S. Hickton to its board of directors, effective October 14, 2025.

Hickton has served as Chair, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Cumberland Additive, Inc., a private company focused on specialty metals additive manufacturing technologies, since June 2022. From June 2019 to June 2022, she served as Executive Vice President and President of Critical Mission Solutions, a division of Jacobs Solutions Inc.

She previously served as Chief Executive Officer of RTI International Metals, Inc., a titanium mill products and fabricated metal components supplier for aerospace, defense, and energy industries. Hickton also serves on the boards of Piedmont Lithium Inc. and VMO Aircraft Leasing.

"Dawne is an accomplished executive who brings to the Board over three decades of significant leadership experience," said Robert S. Wetherbee, CMC's Chairman of the Board.

Hickton's appointment increases the board from nine to ten directors, with nine being independent. She will serve on the Audit and Finance Committees.

Hickton holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester and a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.

CMC operates an extensive manufacturing network principally located in the United States and Central Europe, providing products and technologies for the global construction sector across infrastructure, non-residential, residential, industrial, and energy applications.
