ClearSign adds ex-ExxonMobil executive Larry Saddler to its board

ClearSign Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: CLIR) has appointed Larry Saddler, a retired ExxonMobil executive, to its board of directors, according to a company press release.

Saddler brings nearly 40 years of experience in heat transfer technology, fired equipment engineering, and global operations support. During his career at ExxonMobil, he held senior technical leadership roles, including Global Technology Sponsor for Heat Transfer, where he oversaw the global fleet management of fired equipment covering technology, safety, environmental, reliability, and margin performance.

He also played a role in developing Ultra Low-NOx burner technology, overseeing its development, testing, and implementation across major capital projects. His career included positions in the United States, Thailand, and the United Kingdom before he retired from ExxonMobil in 2021.

Saddler holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.

Saddler fills a vacant directorship on the ClearSign board. The Tulsa, Oklahoma-based company develops combustion and sensing technologies targeting emissions reduction in industrial applications.
