Blade Resources appoints geologist to board, issues incentive grants
Blade Resources Inc. (CSE: AZCU) has appointed Steve Robertson to its board of directors, the Canadian exploration company announced.
Robertson holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Alberta and spent 24 years at Imperial Metals Corporation, where he led the Red Chris exploration program. He received the 2016 E.A. Scholz Award for Excellence in Mine Development. He later served as founding chief executive of Sun Metals Corp. and as president of Prismo Metals Inc. Robertson currently serves as Vice President, Corporate Development at Imperial Metals.
Alongside the board appointment, the company granted 350,000 incentive stock options, 725,000 restricted share units and 675,000 deferred share units to certain directors, officers and consultants under its omnibus incentive plan.
The stock options vest immediately and are exercisable at $0.33 per share until September 22, 2031. The restricted share units vest after 12 months and will be settled in common shares. The deferred share units also vest after 12 months but will only be settled in common shares upon the holder's departure from the company.
All grants are subject to resale restrictions until January 23, 2027, in accordance with Canadian Securities Exchange policies.
Blade Resources is focused on its Hot Breccia copper-gold porphyry project near Hayden, Arizona.
