BioCardia elects Marvin Slosman to board, Richard Krasno completes term

BioCardia Inc. (NASDAQ: BCDA) announced the election of Marvin Slosman to its board of directors, effective December 2, 2025. Dr. Richard Krasno, who served on the board since 2016, completed his term and departed on the same date.
Slosman currently serves as president, chief executive officer and director of InspireMD, a medical device company listed on NASDAQ that focuses on vascular and carotid-artery disease management solutions. His background includes executive positions at Johnson & Johnson, GE Healthcare and Baxter International Inc.
"With deep expertise in the interventional cardiology sector and a strong track record in advancing breakthrough technologies from concept to commercialization, Mr. Slosman brings an exceptional understanding of regulatory pathways, global market expansion, and clinical value creation," said Peter Altman, chief executive officer of BioCardia.
During Krasno's tenure, he contributed to clinical evidence development for the CardiAMP cell therapy for ischemic heart failure treatment, the Morph DNA product FDA approval, and expansion into chronic myocardial ischemia, acute myocardial infarction and pulmonary disease therapeutic areas. He served on the audit committee and compensation committee.
BioCardia develops cellular and cell-derived therapeutics for cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. The company's CardiAMP autologous and CardiALLO allogeneic cell therapies represent its biotherapeutic platforms, with three clinical stage product candidates in development.
