Avalanche Treasury names Virginia Gambale to its board

Avalanche Treasury Co. (Nasdaq: AVAT), a digital asset treasury company focused on the Avalanche blockchain ecosystem, has appointed Virginia Gambale to its board of directors, according to a company statement.



Gambale is managing partner of Azimuth Partners LLC, an advisory firm she founded in 2003. She has previously held senior roles including chief information officer and managing director positions at Merrill Lynch, Bankers Trust, Deutsche Bank, and Marsh & McLennan. She also served as head of Deutsche Bank Strategic Ventures and as a general partner at Deutsche Bank Capital and ABS Ventures.



Gambale currently chairs the board of Nutanix and serves as a director at EVERTEC and Virtu Financial. Her prior board service includes JetBlue Airways, Piper Jaffray, Synchronoss Technologies, and FD Technologies. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology and serves on the Board of Trustees of The Juilliard School.
