Americore Resources names Justin Hanka as new CEO
Americore Resources Corp. (TSXV: AMCO, FSE: 5GP, OTCQB: AMCOF) announced that Jeff Poloni has resigned as Chief Executive Officer and director of the company, effective immediately. Justin Hanka, who currently serves as a director of Americore, has been appointed to replace him as CEO.
Poloni will remain with the company in a technical consulting capacity to support its ongoing exploration activities.
Hanka has 30 years of experience in investment and merchant banking, with a focus on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions in Australasia, Europe, and North America. He has previously served as a director of EONX Technologies Inc. (CSE: EONX), SPARC AI Inc. (CSE: SPAI), and MindBio Therapeutics Corp. (CSE: MBIO). Hanka also participated in the $485 million initial public offering of iSelect.com.au.
"Jeff has played an important role in advancing the Company and its projects, and we are pleased that he will remain involved as a technical consultant," Hanka said in a statement. "I look forward to working with Jeff, the Board and our technical team as we continue to advance Americore's exploration assets."
Americore is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on the Trinity Silver Project in Nevada.
