374Water reappoints Rick Davis to board of directors

374Water Inc. (NASDAQ: SCWO) announced the reappointment of Richard "Rick" Davis to its board of directors, effective immediately. The appointment was unanimous, according to a company statement.
Davis previously served on the 374Water board from 2021 through June 2025. He was CEO of PowerVerde from 2011 to 2021 and has over 30 years of experience in clean technology investing, corporate finance, and capital formation.
His background includes roles as managing director of corporate finance at Martinez-Ayme Securities and senior positions with RBC Dain Rauscher, William R. Hough and Company, and First Equity Corporation of Florida.
"He has raised significant capital for 374Water since the Company's inception and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise with him," said James Pawloski, lead independent director of 374Water.
The current board includes Jim Pawloski, former president and CEO of Veolia North America; Marc Deshusses, deputy director of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Brad Freels, chairman and CEO of Midway Development Company; Charles Weiser, a veteran CFO and CPA; and Stephen McKnight, principal of Pitt Southwest Investors.
374Water develops supercritical water oxidation technology for treating organic waste streams in industrial, municipal, and federal markets. The company's AirSCWO technology is designed to destroy and mineralize organic wastes while producing dischargeable water streams and recoverable heat energy.
