ZenaTech subsidiary to meet with Congress members on drone technology

ZenaTech Inc. (NASDAQ: ZENA) announced that its drone subsidiary ZenaDrone will meet with members of Congress later this month to discuss drone innovation and U.S. manufacturing plans, according to a company statement.

The meetings will be followed by the company's participation in the AUVSI Defense 2025 Forum in Washington, D.C., scheduled for October 28-29 at the Marriott Metro Center.

"Our ZenaDrone subsidiary is committed to becoming a trusted supplier of drone solutions to US defense agencies and NATO," said Shaun Passley, CEO of ZenaTech.

The Congressional meetings are being facilitated by ZenaDrone's government relations partners, Bromelkamp Government Relations and Winning Strategies Washington. The company stated the meetings aim to build relationships and brief Congress members on ZenaDrone's drone solutions and manufacturing plans.

ZenaTech's drone portfolio includes three products at various development stages. The ZenaDrone 1000 is a medium-sized vertical takeoff and landing drone capable of lifting approximately 40 kilograms, designed for inspection, surveillance and reconnaissance applications. The company said it has conducted paid trials with the U.S. Air Force and Navy Reserve.

The IQ Square is a vertical takeoff and landing drone starting at 40 inches by 40 inches, engineered for land surveys and infrastructure inspections. The IQ Nano is a compact indoor drone starting at 20 inches by 20 inches, designed to operate in GPS-denied environments for inventory management and security applications.

ZenaDrone holds Advocacy-level membership in AUVSI and participates in the organization's Air Advocacy Committee and Defense Advocacy Committee. The company stated this participation provides access to federal decision-makers and involvement in policy initiatives related to drone regulation and federal procurement.
