ZenaTech, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZENA) announced the establishment of a component parts manufacturing facility in Taiwan through its subsidiary Spider Vision Sensors. The 16,000 square foot facility is expected to become operational by the end of 2025.

The Taiwan facility will manufacture critical components including PCB boards, motors, cameras, and sensors for ZenaTech's drone models. Components produced in Taiwan will be assembled into drones at ZenaDrone's facilities in Arizona and Sharjah, UAE.

The facility aims to support compliance with US and NATO standards, including Green and Blue UAS certification requirements. ZenaTech selected Taiwan for its position as a technology hub in Asia with advanced infrastructure for electronics manufacturing.

The company plans to staff the facility with approximately 30-40 personnel, including a factory manager, technicians, engineers, and research and development staff. ZenaTech will begin discussions with machinery suppliers in the coming weeks to acquire production equipment.

"Establishing a new Taiwan component manufacturing facility marks a pivotal milestone in advancing our mission to deliver vertically integrated, NDAA-compliant drone technologies at scale," said Shaun Passley, ZenaTech CEO.

The facility is designed to reduce reliance on third-party suppliers and create a stable supply chain for component parts used in drones destined for US defense agencies and NATO use. The facility will support production for ZenaDrone's drone models including the ZenaDrone 1000, IQ Square and IQ Nano.
