Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) and Transcard announced a collaboration to launch an embedded finance platform targeting the freight and logistics industry. The partnership integrates payment and working capital solutions for users of WebCargo by Freightos (NASDAQ: CRGO), a digital booking platform for freight services.

The solution combines Visa's commercial payment infrastructure with Transcard's payment orchestration technology. WebCargo users can access flexible credit terms, automated onboarding and reconciliation services for air cargo transactions through Visa's virtual card system.

The companies are developing what they term "agentic" capabilities for business-to-business transactions. Visa Intelligent Commerce is creating commercial standards and tools for agent-based supplier transactions, while Transcard's platform includes automated features for cash flow management and operational insights.

"Our partnership with Transcard reflects our commitment to advancing the industry, leveraging our technology and expertise to help businesses streamline operations," said Darren Parslow, Global Head of Visa Commercial Solutions.

Greg Bloh, Transcard CEO, stated the partnership "strengthens our embedded B2B payment and working capital solution and delivers intelligent payment orchestration with agentic AI functionality."

Freightos CEO Zvi Schreiber said the collaboration supports the company's mission to "make global trade frictionless" by facilitating easier payment processes for freight services.

The platform addresses cash flow constraints between freight forwarders and airlines while providing digital payment processing for cargo transactions. The information comes from a joint company announcement.
