VERSES AI receives patent for natural language agent design method
VERSES AI Inc. (CBOE: VERS) (OTCQB: VRSSF) received a patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for a method that allows software agents to be designed using natural language, the company announced.
The patent, numbered 12,393,581 B2 and titled "A Method and System for Specifying an Active Inference based agent using Natural Language," covers technology for creating domain models that enable software agents to generate predictions and perform specific tasks.
"By allowing domain models to be expressed in natural language, we're enabling enterprises to design intelligent agents that are both powerful and accessible," said Hari Thiruvengada, Chief Technology Officer of VERSES, according to the company's statement.
The Vancouver-based cognitive computing company develops agentic software systems based on active inference principles. The company's flagship product, Genius, is described as an enterprise intelligence platform designed to make predictions and decisions in uncertain conditions.
VERSES trades on the CBOE exchange under the ticker VERS and on the OTCQB market as VRSSF. The information is based on a company press release.
