UNDER ARMOUR names Reza Taleghani as new CFO effective February 2026
Under Armour Inc. (NYSE: UAA, UA) announced that Reza Taleghani will join the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in February 2026. He will replace David Bergman, who has served as CFO for 21 years and will remain with the company through the first quarter of fiscal 2027 to facilitate the transition.
Taleghani brings over 25 years of global financial and operational experience to Under Armour. He currently serves as Executive Vice President and CFO at Samsonite Group S.A., a position he has held since 2018. At Samsonite, he oversees global finance, accounting, investor relations, treasury, internal audit, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to Samsonite, Taleghani served as President and CFO at Brightstar Corp., a SoftBank portfolio company, where he managed the device protection and financial services divisions and led international acquisitions. He spent more than 15 years at J.P. Morgan in senior roles across investment banking, commercial banking, and asset management. He also served as President and CEO of Sterling Airlines A/S in Copenhagen.
Taleghani holds a JD/MBA from Villanova University and dual bachelor's degrees from Brown University.
