UBS Global Wealth Management US announced it hired a five-person advisor team and opened a new office in Ann Arbor, Michigan, expanding its presence in the Great Lakes region.

The Mueting Lyczak Group joined UBS from Merrill Lynch and includes financial advisors Mark Mueting, Dan Lyczak and Dan Fisher, along with associates Jennifer Kempf and Grant Hulett. The team serves high-net-worth families, business owners and corporate executives.

The new Ann Arbor office is located at 315 E. Eisenhower Parkway, Suite 11, and will be overseen by Market Director Joe Molloy, who also leads the firm's Plymouth, Michigan operations. The office joins UBS's Great Lakes Wealth Management Market, managed by Market Executive Geoffrey Centner.

"The Mueting Lyczak Group embodies the qualities we value most at UBS – deep client relationships, multi-generational advice and a commitment to providing best-in-class service," Centner said in a statement.

Jon Ramey, UBS Regional Director for the Central Region, said the expansion reflects the firm's investment in high-growth markets and talented advisors.

UBS manages $6.1 trillion in invested assets as of the fourth quarter 2024, according to the company. The Swiss-headquartered firm operates in more than 50 markets globally. UBS Group shares trade on the SIX Swiss Exchange and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: UBS).
