U.S. Treasury, Commerce secretaries and Trade Representative to meet Chinese reps
Investing.com -- A meeting has been scheduled in London for Monday, June 9, 2025, between top U.S. officials and representatives from China. This was announced by President Trump on the social media platform, Truth Social.
The U.S. delegation will include Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent, Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and United States Trade Representative, Ambassador Jamieson Greer. The meeting is set to discuss the trade deal between the two nations.
As per the announcement, Trump expressed optimism about the meeting, stating, "The meeting should go very well."
This meeting signifies the continuation of dialogue between the U.S. and China, two of the world’s largest economies, regarding their trade relationship.
