U.S. GoldMining Inc. (NASDAQ: USGO) identified four new gold-copper targets at its Whistler Gold-Copper Project in Alaska following completion of a 2025 exploration program.

The company completed 169 shallow drill holes ranging from 3 to 8 meters deep across the Whistler Orbit area between August and October 2025. The scout drilling program targeted potential porphyry deposits beneath glacial till cover over a 7.5 kilometer by 4.5 kilometer area.

The exploration identified four target areas based on geochemical analysis of basal till and bedrock samples combined with geological mapping and geophysical surveys. The Whistler extensions target area showed copper anomalies east of the existing Whistler deposit. The Mammoth and Snow Ridge areas, located 2-3 kilometers north of Whistler, contained gold and copper anomalies in both till and bedrock samples.

The Raintree area showed widespread gold and copper anomalism adjacent to the existing Raintree deposit. The Hotfoot target, located 1 kilometer south of Raintree, demonstrated intense bedrock gold anomalies associated with a magnetic feature similar to known deposits.

The company collected basal till samples from all 169 drill holes and obtained bedrock samples from 63% of the holes. Multiple previously unmapped porphyry intrusive rocks were discovered beneath the till cover during the program.

U.S. GoldMining plans follow-up drilling for summer 2026, with infill and expansion scout drilling followed by deeper diamond core drilling. The company continues work on a preliminary economic assessment for the project, targeting release before the end of the first quarter of 2026.

The Whistler Project covers approximately 53,700 acres on Alaska state mining claims. Current mineral resources include 294 million tonnes at 0.68 grams per tonne gold equivalent for 6.48 million ounces indicated, plus 198 million tonnes at 0.65 grams per tonne for 4.16 million ounces inferred.
