TeamViewer completes test environment for FedRAMP authorization
TeamViewer (Frankfurt: TMV) announced it has completed the build-out and compliance validation of its test environment for the TeamViewer DEX platform, marking a milestone in its pursuit of full FedRAMP authorization.
The completion represents a quality gate for authorization of the live system, according to the company's statement. FedRAMP is the federal government's standardized approach to security assessment and authorization for cloud products and services.
"Reaching the production milestone under our FedRAMP journey is a major achievement for the team," said Mei Dent, Chief Product & Technology Officer at TeamViewer. "Building and authorizing our test environment demonstrates our commitment to rigorous security standards and operational excellence."
TeamViewer is now deploying its production environment as the next step in the authorization process. The DEX platform, formerly known as the 1E Platform, provides endpoint management capabilities for federal customers.
The German-based company provides digital workplace solutions and reported revenue of approximately €671 million in 2024. TeamViewer employs more than 1,900 people globally and serves over 645,000 customers across various industries.
The company stated it will provide updates as it progresses toward full FedRAMP authorization for federal agency customers.
