SymphonyAI integrates NVIDIA Omniverse into industrial AI platform

November 18, 2025 11:34 AM UTC

SymphonyAI announced the integration of NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) Omniverse libraries into its IRIS Foundry DataOps platform and IRIS Forge application builder. The platform runs on Microsoft Azure cloud and edge infrastructure.

The integration allows industrial teams to create 3D digital twins with live industrial data and simulate entire plants or production lines in minutes rather than weeks. SymphonyAI unveiled the technology at Microsoft Ignite.

The solution targets refineries, manufacturers, energy producers, and process industry companies seeking to visualize and optimize distributed operations in real time. Users can build dynamic applications within minutes using IRIS Forge, supporting collaborative simulations and 3D visualizations.

The platform operates on Microsoft Azure's infrastructure, utilizing Azure Kubernetes Service for orchestration, Azure Entra ID for secure access, and Azure Edge Runtime for processing. It includes Model Context Protocol connectivity with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams.

IRIS Forge now incorporates NVIDIA Omniverse libraries for real-time 3D visualization and simulation with live data interaction. The system uses OpenUSD foundation for interoperability with 3D and industrial data.

The platform offers deployment options across Azure cloud, on-premises, or edge environments. Ready-made templates and camera integration are designed to accelerate digital twin modeling and process simulation.

SymphonyAI developed the system to enable distributed teams to view and optimize live 3D models and workflows. The IRIS Foundry platform includes what the company describes as a large language model trained on industrial data, developed in collaboration with Microsoft.

The integration allows engineers and operators to build industrial AI applications using Omniverse 3D visualization and modeling libraries, supported by IRIS Foundry's data connections across organizational assets and systems.
