Surf Air Mobility Inc. (NYSE: SRFM) announced it has allocated $26 million from its recent $100 million strategic transaction to fund development of SurfOS, its artificial intelligence-enabled software platform for the aviation industry. The company targets a commercial rollout of the software in 2026.

SurfOS is designed to integrate operations across the air mobility ecosystem using Palantir Technologies' AIP and Foundry platforms. The software includes three flagship products: BrokerOS, OperatorOS, and OwnerOS.

Surf Air Mobility reported operational improvements from internal use of SurfOS tools. The company said it achieved a 36% reduction in On Demand team expenses, a 197% increase in bookings per broker, and a 14% decrease in quote-to-booking time when comparing third quarter 2024 with third quarter 2025.

The company has expanded its partnership with Palantir to include enterprise implementation services and additional go-to-market resources to accelerate commercial deployment. Palantir's platforms power SurfOS's core operating system for Part 135 regional aviation operations.

Recent SurfOS feature launches include a Palantir AIP-powered analytics dashboard for predictive insights on crew performance, expanded capabilities in the Flight Ops crew mobile application, and a BrokerOS mobile app for customer flight management.

Surf Air Mobility operates a commuter airline in the United States and develops technology for air mobility operations and next-generation aircraft adoption. The funding allocation represents part of the company's strategy to commercialize its software platform for the broader aviation industry.
