Spirit Blockchain Capital contacts regulator over trading activity

Spirit Blockchain Capital Inc. (CSE: SPIR) contacted the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organisation regarding recent trading activity in the company's shares, according to a statement released Monday.
The Vancouver-based digital asset investment company said it is reviewing the trading activity and its impact on the stock price to ensure investors continue to benefit from a fair and orderly marketplace.
On August 15, Gabriela Hunkeler filed an early warning report disclosing her disposition of a portion of her shareholdings in the company. Hunkeler advised the company that the disposition by way of gift was undertaken as part of personal estate and succession planning.
The company said Hunkeler continues to hold a meaningful stake in Spirit Blockchain's shares, which she has held since the company's initial public offering. Spirit Blockchain described Hunkeler as remaining closely aligned with the company's long-term strategy and vision.
