Smartkem to merge with Ferrox Critical Minerals, per SRX Global
Smartkem, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMTK) has announced a merger with Ferrox Critical Minerals, according to a press release from SRX Global Inc. (NYSE American: SRXH), which holds a 4.99% stake in Smartkem.
The business combination is subject to customary closing conditions, including shareholder approval from both Smartkem and Ferrox.
SRX Global previously acquired its 4.99% position in Smartkem through a shelf takedown and also purchased convertible preferred securities via a non-brokered private placement.
