Sharplink, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBET) and Galaxy Digital Inc. (Nasdaq: GLXY) have jointly launched the Galaxy Sharplink Onchain Yield Fund, LP, an institutional investment vehicle with $125 million in committed capital, according to a press release dated Aug. 7, 2026.

The fund will deploy capital into onchain yield strategies and identified investments. Of the total committed capital, $100 million is backed by Sharplink's staked ETH treasury, with Galaxy contributing the remaining $25 million. Galaxy will manage the fund.

Mike Novogratz, Founder and CEO of Galaxy, said, "This Fund reflects that shift by pairing Sharplink's substantial ETH treasury with Galaxy's institutional investment platform to access opportunities across the onchain economy through a disciplined investment approach."

Joseph Chalom, CEO of Sharplink, described the fund as an expansion of the company's ETH treasury management strategy, stating it represents "a disciplined, institutional-grade allocation designed to make our ETH even more productive."

Matthew Sheffield, Chief Investment Officer of Sharplink, said the fund aims to address a gap in early-stage crypto protocol funding, where venture capital is typically used to acquire tokens or equity rather than to support activity within protocols directly.

Sharplink is headquartered in Miami, Florida, and Galaxy Digital is headquartered in New York City.
