Seer appoints Isaac Ro to board of directors

Seer Inc. (NASDAQ: SEER) appointed Isaac Ro to its board of directors, the proteomics company announced.



Ro is a partner at Catalio Capital Management, where he leads venture and private credit investments in life science companies. He currently serves on the boards of PinkDx and PrognomiQ.



Previously, Ro served as executive chairman of Haystack Oncology, leading the company through its acquisition by Quest Diagnostics in 2023. He was chief financial officer of Sema4 (NASDAQ: WGS), guiding the company through its public listing in 2021 and the acquisition of GeneDx. He also held the CFO role at Thrive Earlier Detection, leading the company's launch and sale to Exact Sciences in 2020.



From 2010 to 2019, Ro led the U.S. Medical Technology and Life Science Tools equity research teams at Goldman Sachs, and held a similar role at Leerink Partners. He earned his bachelor's degree in History from Middlebury College.

Seer develops proteomics technology through its Proteograph Product Suite, which integrates engineered nanoparticles, automation instrumentation, consumables, and analytical software. The company's products are for research use only.
