Safe Pro Group wins $1 million US government AI processing contract

Safe Pro Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAI) announced it received a $1 million subcontract to supply AI processing systems to the U.S. Government through a prime contractor, according to a company statement.



The Aventura, Florida-based company develops AI-enabled defense, security, and situational awareness solutions. The systems covered by the contract underwent internal development and low rate initial production funded by strategic investments from ONDAS Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) and Unusual Machines Inc. (NYSE: UMAC).



Safe Pro specializes in drone imagery processing using commercially available drones combined with proprietary machine learning and computer vision technology. The company's platform identifies explosive threats as an alternative to traditional human-based analysis methods.



The company operates on a cloud-based ecosystem powered by Amazon Web Services and targets commercial, government, law enforcement and humanitarian sectors with its AI software, protective gear and drone-based services.



The contract falls under U.S. Government sponsorship according to 10 U.S.C. ยง4023, which authorizes the government to reproduce and distribute materials for governmental purposes.
